Each year, Campden Music organises a series of subscription concerts in the beautiful setting and fine acoustics of St James’ Church, Chipping Campden. You can enjoy all six concerts for just £70.
By offering these on a subscription basis we are able to enjoy a very high standard of music at an incredibly reasonable cost.
Founded in 1960, we have since welcomed many international musicians including Emma Johnson, Winchester Cathedral Choir, Pascal Roger, La Serenissima, Ex Cathedra, Onyx Brass, The Endellion String Quartet and The Chamber Ensemble of London.
To enjoy Campden Music concerts simply complete the Membership Form HERE .
As a member you are welcome at all six concerts. We do not issue membership cards or tickets but we do record members attending. All seating is unreserved so the earlier you arrive the better the choice of seats. Doors normally open at 6.30pm - depending on musicians' rehearsals.
If you are not already a member, you are most welcome to come to a ‘taster’ concert as a guest of the society. We suggest guests make a donation of at least £20. Those aged under 25 and in full time education are admitted free of charge. Members are encouraged to bring potential members and visitors to the area as guests.
In order to help maintain the high standard of musicianship which members have come to enjoy you may like to become a Patron. Patrons make a minimum donation of £50 and receive acknowledgement in each of the six concert programmes.
Alternatively you may like to make an extra donation to our funds of whatever amount you like.
Thank you, Committee and team of the Campden Music Society. I have been a member now for 30 years, have hardly ever missed a concert and have so much enjoyed having marvellous music on my doorstep. It is so nice too not having to choose, yet be surprised and educated each concert with a wonderful variety.
