Inspired by the Giro d’Italia we travel the length and breadth of Italy highlighting the superb quality of music to be found in musical centres both great and small. Including concertos for strings by Brescianello, Durante, Gnocchi & Vivaldi.
Recognised for ‘whipping up a storm with Vivaldi’, La Serenissima is ‘one of Britain’s best-loved chamber orchestras’ (The Telegraph) known for championing a host of neglected Italian baroque composers and outstanding performances. The group plays to a global audience of millions, with 1.3m monthly listeners on Spotify alone and regularly features on international radio, advertising and film. La Serenissima albums have topped the UK Classical Chart (2018) and won two Gramophone Awards (2010 & 2017). La Serenissima celebrates its 30th Anniversary during 2024-25 and is proud to have as Honorary Patron, His Excellency The Ambassador of Italy to the UK.

Thank you, Committee and team of the Campden Music Society. I have been a member now for 30 years, have hardly ever missed a concert and have so much enjoyed having marvellous music on my doorstep. It is so nice too not having to choose, yet be surprised and educated each concert with a wonderful variety.
