A programme for Valentine’s Day - Young Lovers
Eleanor and Maya are to perform a programme centred around the theme of love, including songs by Gabriel Fauré, Franz Liszt and Roger Quilter’s 7 Elizabethan Lyrics Op.12.
Eleanor Broomfield is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music where she studied on the Undergraduate and Preparatory Opera courses. She is also a graduate of the Handel House Talent Scheme 2018/19. She sings in opera including at Longborough and gives recitals mainly in London at venues such as The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace and Cadogan Hall.
Maya Soltan is a Russian pianist and coach who trained at the Moscow State Conservatory, the Nationalist Opera Studio and the Royal Academy of Music. Her recent accomplishments include collaborations with Loughborough Festival Opera, the British Library and Philharmonic Voices.
Thank you, Committee and team of the Campden Music Society. I have been a member now for 30 years, have hardly ever missed a concert and have so much enjoyed having marvellous music on my doorstep. It is so nice too not having to choose, yet be surprised and educated each concert with a wonderful variety.
